Get started with Health Workforce

Health Workforce data sharing is covered under the existing OnSPARK Data Sharing Agreement, and we work with your team at each step.

  • We will talk you through the data intake process, and can answer any of your questions or concerns before any data is shared.

    • Confirm which systems hold your scheduling, payroll and HR records and who will run the exports.

    • Choose how to transfer: all homes at once, one home at a time, or by month, quarter or year.

    • Files should be exported as CSV.

  • Share a sample of each record type. OnSPARK confirms the exports contain what's needed and will work with you if we have any questions about your codes.

  • Once questions are resolved, share the agreed files through your secure file transfer method, in this order:

    1. Employee census

    2. Scheduling

    3. Payroll and code legend

    4. Any additional files

  • After the first transfer, send new records quarterly.

  • Use your home and unit-level trends to inform reporting, quality improvement and operations.
