Portal Data and Insights

OnSPARK  gives Ontario LTC homes access to a Portal dashboard where they can view timely insights.

Our data flow

The Portal ensures homes get the insights they need to transform their data into action.

1.

Data collection and storage

Data is de-identified and securely transferred from the data source to OnSPARK.

Master Server Storage: Data is stored in secure servers at McMaster University in Canada, an organization with significant experience in ethical research and data infrastructure.

2.

Data processing

Data is categorized using indicators: Our data scientists aggregate, process and organize timely data into indicators that can be easily used by LTC homes.

Timely dashboards: The Portal uses the data and indicators to create charts, graphs and lists, all presented on a dashboard.

3.

Insights and reporting

User-friendly insights: Unit and home-level insights can be accessed, downloaded and assessed in the OnSPARK Portal dashboard, with no technical expertise required.
